Job Requirements
We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Registered Nurse with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. It is also important to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively educate patients and their families on the in-home healthcare process.

Additional requirements for this role include\:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Specialty certification (ex\: CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred 
  • Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas

Experience

One-year experience in an area of specialty preferred, not required.
 
Education / Licensure Required   
Completion of a Registered Nurse program in an accredited institution. Current RN licensure in the State of Nebraska or the State of Iowa; Nebraska and Iowa are compact states so you must be licensed in the state of residence.
 
Additional requirements include\:
BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire.  Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following\:  American Red Cross\:  CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and American Heart Association\: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. 
 
ACLS or ACLS instructor certification is required within 6 months.  Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following\:  American Heart Association\:  Advanced Cardiac Life Support, American College of Surgeons\:  ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) and American College of Emergency Physician\:  ACLS

ACLS or ACLS instructor certification is required within 6 months.  Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following\:  American Heart Association
 
PALS (Pediatric Cardiac Life Support) or PALS instructor certification required within 12 months.  Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following\:  American Heart Association\:  Pediatric Advanced Life Support, American Safety and Health Institute\:  PALS, Emergency Nurses Association\:  Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), American Academy of Pediatrics\:  Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP), and American Academy of Pediatrics/American College of Emergency Physicians\:  APLS
