Recruitment and Placement Specialist

AIM is currently seeking a Recruitment and Placement Specialist who will work with our Adult Tech Education program, both recruiting students as well as connecting our graduates to potential employers through placement and sourcing.  The ideal candidate will have technical recruiting experience preferably with an agency, with secondary skills in education.

This position is full-time working at the corporate office with benefits the first of the month following 30-days of employment and includes a strong base salary with generous commission structures.

Duties:

  • Manages Placement Program, connecting Tech Education graduates and alumni to potential employers.
  • Work directly with students to support their Tech Career efforts.
  • Source potential job opportunities through all avenues including online postings, job boards, and in person meetings.
  • Manage all student and alumni information including resumes, educational status, employment history, and placement needs.
  • Facilitate phone screens, interviews, and other on-boarding steps as needed by employer partners.
  • Negotiate employment contracts.
  • Consistently research and update all job leads in the tech field.
  • Consistently recruit students for Tech Education classes, and meet seasonal recruitment goals.
  • Support entire Tech Education team to follow the mission of filling the Tech Talent Pipeline.
  • Actively network in the Tech community and serve as an ambassador for the AIM mission.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years in talent acquisition/placement/recruitment/sourcing
  • Strong technical skills and/or ability to communicate in technology/programing language
  • Sales and/or Education background preferred
