Full Stack Developer

Job Description

At AIM, we create and support a variety of web & software applications for both internal and external customers. We are looking for a talented and passionate software developer to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for project based work as well as bug fixes. Our team plans and executes based on Agile and specifically Scrum principles, so we hope you share our passion for working software and strong collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of enterprise-level application and database design experience

  • 5+ years of LAMP (Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL)

  • 5+ years of writing code in PHP, Java, C#, or Python (Note: AIM is primarily a LAMP shop)

  • Regular use of a common graphical IDE (Visual Studio, Eclipse, NetBeans, etc.)

  • Experience with an MVC framework such as CodeIgniter

  • Experience with web services such as  AJAX and JSON

  • Experience with HTML5

  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Solid understanding of security issues that pertain to web development

  • Experience with working in Subversion is a plus

  • Enthusiasm for coding, design, and problem solving

  • Solid analytical skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Passion for working with legacy code

  • Self motivated, organized, quick learner, who can juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to deliver projects on time

  • Note: Selected candidates will be required to submit code samples for review
