Office of Financial Support/Scholarship
The Assistant Director serves as VA School Certifying Official for Post 9-11 GI Bill Chapter 33 benefit and Chapter 31 benefit. This position is the expert on student debt management, teaming with Cashiering/Student Accounts (CSA) and the Veterans Administration (VA) to improve processes for impacted students. In addition, this position will work directly with the Associate Director, Financial Support & Scholarships, to assist with the management of the Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) program, including reviewing and making decisions on SAP appeals, collecting appropriate documentation, and helping manage the end of the semester SAP process and notify students of their status. The Assistant Director is also responsible for administration of the Federal Work Study Program. This includes collaborating with Human Resources and Payroll to ensure students are paid correctly and in accordance with federal regulations, collaboration with on- and off-campus employers, and reconciling funds.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training to the essential duties and responsibilities.
- Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
