Student Services Specialist
The Aviation Institute at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a passionate student services professional to lead our recruitment, retention, and completion initiatives. Candidates for this full-time position must have a demonstrated commitment to the development and implementation of strategies that will effectively engage prospective and current students in the Institute’s undergraduate degree program, which includes concentrations in professional flight, air transport administration, and unmanned aircraft systems. Candidates must also have demonstrated experience and capabilities in the use of various social media platforms as well as traditional media and events to effectively engage students and other target audiences. A successful candidate will share the Institute’s commitment to safety, professionalism, inclusion, diversity, and collaborative decision making. Aviation experience is welcomed, but not required. However, a willingness to learn more about this exciting field is a must.
- Bachelors degree in Education, Communications, Aviation, Marketing, or a related field.
- Two years of experience related to academic or professional recruitment, retention, and communications
Salary Information: Commensurate with Experience
