Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Recruiting Specialist will provide administrative support for the Executive  Leadership TA team.

Education:
Required:
High School Diploma. Formally trained or relevant experience in computer office software.

Preferred:
Associates Degree or some college preferred

Experience:
Required:
Two years of administrative experience or equivalent college education.

Preferred:
Work experience in a Human Resources setting preferred.

Department Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide clerical support for the Executive-Leadership Talent Acquisition team. A major area of responsibility will be maintenance and verification of job requisitions, conducting background screens, education & licensure verification (when applicable) and other background checks on applicants. The Recruiting Specialist will also assist managers with questions regarding HR practices, processes, forms and the new hire on-boarding process. Other responsibilities include attending career fairs/recruiting events as needed, back-up for the HR receptionist, and assisting with special projects as necessary.

The Recruiting Specialist must present him/herself in a professional manner and work as a partner with the HR team, hiring managers, and candidates. The goal at all times is to be customer focused and present a positive manner.

He/she should exhibit exemplary telephone etiquette; answers telephone lines promptly and in a courteous manner, offering assistance whenever possible or directs calls to the appropriate individual. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates knowledge of computer applications and software such as MS Office, Taleo and PeopleSoft. Exemplifies good organizational and administrative skills and appropriately prioritizes work. Ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner. Positively demonstrates and promotes a team spirit.
