Job Summary:
Reporting to the Applications Director, this individual will manage all aspects of the OnBase system application. Responsibilities include the oversight and planning for the rollout of the application across the organization and working with the respective departments utilizing the system including but not limited to HIM, Revenue Cycle, Patient Access and Ambulatory settings.
Coordinate related vendor activities and participate in contract negotiations and assists director with budget related items. Provide Upgrade planning & support structure for the application including coordination and collaboration with other teams and departments as necessary. Develop priorities and work plans to ensure organizational objectives are met.
Senior Administrator plans integration of new or acquired physician practices or departments that will need to be set up in the OnBase application along with coordination of conversion efforts on their data. Ensures that application upgrades, interfaces, conversions and training are effective and successful.
Senior Administrator should have ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and applications. He/she should be proficient in all skills required to facilitate complex application and system enhancements or replacement. The individual is highly motivated, team oriented, self-directed individual to support our new Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system, Hyland OnBase. In this role, you will be heavily involved with the implementation and conversion from our former image storage solution and legacy archives of EMR systems being replaced. Provide day to day application administration and maintenance. As part of our Technology Management support team, you will work with a talented, dedicated team that provides support for a wide variety of applications.
You should be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels within the health care organization, collect and translate requirements into reality, as well as identify opportunities for improvement. Your customer service and problem solving skills are critical to success. Days and hours worked may be variable.

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and/or experience

Professional certification(s) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

Prior Management experience required and preferred to be in healthcare.

System Implementation experience.

Baccalaureate degree information management a related field, or equivalent education, training, and/or experience

RHIT(Registered Health Information Technologist)
In-depth knowledge of relational databases, preferably SQL.
More than 3 years of experience with shell scripting, Windows Power Shell, Perl, Java Script or other scripting languages
Ability to rapidly shift between ongoing project work and day to day support requests
Experience with developing applications using Visual Studio 2010, 2012, and/or 2013
Experience with web application development.
Technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration
Attend or have Attended OnBase software system administrator training
Complete education and pass certification of OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA) certification within the first year of employment.

Professional experience in an enterprise-wide Records Management program
Process Improvement, AIIM, CRM certifications
ITIL certification
Hyland OnBase System Administration (OCSA)

Department Position Summary:
The employee must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide comprehensive support for systems/applications to which he/she is assigned. The employee must demonstrate knowledge on health care operations and the application of information technology to aid and improve health care functions.

The employee must:
Oversee the development and design of the OnBase application for which there is an in-depth knowledge required of the assigned system
Assists with the development of short and long range plans for the Onbase system development to support the strategic needs of the Health System
Plans integration of new or acquired physician practices or departments that will need to be set up in the Onbase application along with coordination of conversion efforts on their data.
Responsible for the coordination of upgrades and system rollouts
Coordinates any software upgrade with the vendor and the organizational departments using the application � system application version upgrades, training, ongoing monitoring on how the organization utilizes the application
Ensures effective and successful upgrades, interfaces, and activation of systems and processes and coordinate follow-up monitoring.
Work with the departments and organizational management on any necessary changes required by the organization or regulatory changes.
Ensures system enhancements provided by vendor are applied according to IS/Vendor standards, and in a timely manner.
Coach and mentor other applications support staff on system and EHS system management methodology
Participates in the preparation of operating and capital budgets for ERP systems; manages expenses to budget.
Works closely with other IT leaders to address intra-departmental issues and to actively support process improvement efforts
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, applications and interfaces
Demonstrates proficiency in all skills required to facilitate complex application and system enhancements or replacements
Analyzes and resolves complex system integration problems
Creates pre � and post � project benchmarking metrics

Support the ECM application, including: Administer and ensure continuous operation and stability of the ECM system, including troubleshooting, patching, and working with outside technical support and/or other teams to resolve issues
