A licensed physical therapist employed by Erlanger Health System, is responsible for direct and indirect care in the rehabilitation of the patient.
Required: Bachelors Degree required in either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.

Department Position Summary: Plans, develops, manages and coordinates Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology and EMG Lab. Develops an efficient use of departmental resources. Continually evaluates and maintains own skills and competence. Assures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinates Continuous Quality Improvement activities within the departments. Participates in cross functional teams within the Medical Center to improve quality of services and contain costs. Manages budgetary, personnel, education, equipment and supply needs for the departments. Participates in special projects as assigned by the Executive Vice-President. Participates in self directed teams to develop new product lines and markets. Informs Executive Management of operational issues and opportunities. Responds to the needs of customers, including physicians, patients, visitors and associates. Provides orientation and annual education for associates within the Rehabilitation Department.
