In this position you will:
* In this position you will be responsible for providing nursing assessments and monitoring all medical/psychiatric issues of people served to support comprehensive healthcare. * Medical needs of clientele include tracheostomy support, Gastrostomy tube support, Colostomy support. As a nurse, you will be working with a consistent group of clients and will develop strong and positive nurse-client rapport with the clients served at Mosaic. * You will be working closely with a variety of clients to include both clients who utilize verbal and non-verbal communication. * One on-call weekend day or night shift (depending on position) per month may be required.
Several shifts available:
* Three 12 hour shifts a week from 7pm - 7am, every other weekend required. * Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between two ICF homes. Primarily weekday hours. Occasional weekend hours with on call rotation. * On Call - Requires 16 hours per month; 12 hour night shift 7 pm - 7am. * 7:00 pm - 7 am (12 hr) three shifts a week. Every other weekend commitment.
$2,500 hiring bonus for full time positions.
Our base wage is $31.48/ hr, plus more for each year of experience.
* Bachelors of Science in Nursing, or the degree required based on State and agency definitions. * Minimum of two years of general nursing experience required. * State nursing license required. * Work requires frequent physical activity including extended periods of standing, walking, and bending with occasional periods of sitting, kneeling, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting and balancing. * Work also requires constant reaching between knee and shoulder level as well as frequent reaching below knee level and overhead. * Work requires occasional independent lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent push/pull up to 40 pounds of force and the ability to safely transfer 50 pounds.
