Job Description

Mosaic is a faith-based nonprofit organization providing a life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities. We are currently looking for a State HR Manager to join our Kansas City agency. In this role you will be responsible for the deliver of human resources functions at an agency level and supervising HR staff across the state of Kansas.

Duties include:

* Hiring, training, supervising, coaching and developing agency human resources staff
* Providing human resources support in compliance with Mosaic's standardized processes and best practices
* Working with agency leadership to ensure effective recruitment, retention and engagement strategies are in place
* Coordinating the recruitment and hiring process, to include effective sourcing of applicants, timely processing of applications, sound selection processes and adherence to Mosaic's best practices for hiring and onboarding.
* Providing support and recommendations on employee relations issues and investigations including conflict resolution, performance management, corrective actions and terminations
* Oversee benefits, compensation, FMLA and Leave of Absence for agency employees
* Coordinate performance evaluations, worker's compensation, unemployment, payroll, personnel records and the tracking and reporting of human resources related data/information

* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.
* Minimum of four years' experience in Human Resources, or a related field preferred, including previous supervisory experience.
* PHR certification preferred.
