Midwest Protect Services, Inc., a growing low voltage contracting business, is looking for motivated, driven person, to join our family.

This position represents the first point of contact for our customers both in the office and on the telephone. The applicant must have a positive attitude and the desire to work well with others, as part of a team. The position is an opportunity in making sure the operations stay running smoothly. You will play a key role in helping move our company forward on a day by day basis. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, answering phones, data entry, and assisting with office procedures.

Ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and/or similar accounting softwware, Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Organizational skills, Interpersonal communication - phone, email, fax, etc. Basic accounting knowledge, payroll data entry, billing and job cost reporting. The preferred candidate will also possess strong analytical skills, be detailed oriented, able to work independently and work well in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Critical to success in this position are strong organization and communication skills as well as a high level of comfort with Excel/Word applications and the QuickBooks accounting software.

Past experience with a Contracting and Service company is preferred.

  • Experience as a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with experience in accounting
  • Must have excellent organizational, written and verbal skills.
  • Assist sales department with creating and delivering proposals.
  • Order office equipment supplies. Ensure that the office is organized.
  • Assist with maintaining company database, assembly of new hire and exit packets, record keeping, filing etc.

The responsibilities will consist of billing, employee time data entry, contract administration.
