Description

Toddler (Ages 18m-3):  The Assistant Toddler Teacher position is responsible for assisting with planning and implementing instruction activities for all children in their classroom.  This team member works cooperatively with parents, other Westside Early Childhood staff members and school professionals to maintain a safe and educational environment.  Must work under the supervision of a teacher at all times. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 19 years of age

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Knowledge and application of the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD

• Knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation Standards

• Training on the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines
