Key responsibilities include finding and developing new clients in an assigned territory. The Business Development Manager will work diligently at increasing overall revenue by finding new clients. This will be done by contacting potential clients through cold-calling and closing the sale over the phone. Some in person meetings are required, but key objective is to close the sale over the phone. This person will be in constant contact with potential leads and have set sales goals to achieve each week.
Primary Position Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires proven business to business sales experience, and must possess a broad understanding of developing new business. Computer/phone skills required.
Applicant must be passionate about going out finding new business and closing the sales. This person must know how to contact cold leads and know how to start the sales cycle from these cold leads. Must be able to ask probing questions, and not be afraid to close the sale. Drive, follow up and communication skills are essential.
