The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for managing activities related to Hallmark Omnichannels paid search presence, including: forecasting, planning, buying, executing and evaluating the performance of PPC campaigns.

The Paid Search Specialist will:

  • Provide day-to-day management of Hallmark Omnichannel's paid search campaigns:
    • Design, develop and manage Hallmark Omnichannel's PPC campaigns, including: account structure, campaign structure, keyword research, bid strategies and management, and ad copywriting
    • Forecast and manage budgets at the daily, weekly, monthly and annual levels
    • Perform ongoing campaign optimizations to improve performance and ROI
    • Manage and optimize product feeds in support of PLA/Shopping ads and Local Inventory ads
    • Define and manage audiences for search and remarketing ads
    • Collaborate with digital team on enhancements to landing pages based upon marketing needs
  • Be a digital thought leader:
    • Stay up on search marketing / digital marketing trends and technology
    • Lead the execution of recommendations for new search strategies and approaches
    • Partner with optimization team to recommend & perform A/B testing in support of search campaigns
    • Be an advocate & evangelist of digital marketing, technology & capabilities within the broader Hallmark organization
  • Be a steward of the data:
    • Deliver strategic insights based on web analytics tied to PPC campaigns, such as: identifying new trends, top-performing campaigns and new search opportunities.  This will include regular reporting at an executive level.

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • 3+ years of progressive Paid Search buying experience


  • PPC experience supporting a business-to-consumer (B2C) omnichannel retailer
  • AdWords certification
  • Experience with PPC bid management platform (e.g. DoubleClick Search, Marin, Kenshoo, Adobe Media Optimizer)
  • Able to thrive & assert positive influence in a highly matrixed environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong self-motivation, adaptability, and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics tool
  • Experience with feed management platforms (Channel Advisor, ProductsUp or similar)
