The Analytics Technology Leader is responsible for developing and implementing a technology strategy and roadmap to materially advance Hallmark's analytics capabilities that drive actionable business insights.  The Analytics Technology Leader interacts with Technology and Business Enablement (T&BE) senior leadership, select Hallmark executives, business analytics teams and vendor partners to develop a plan that emphasizes continual advancement of business intelligence, advanced analytics and data science with an ultimate goal of enabling Hallmark's businesses to drive incremental revenue and reduce costs based data-driven insights.  The Analytics Technology Leader leads a team of data or technology analysts directly but is also expected to influence and enable the multiple business analytics groups within Hallmark to document present capabilities, establish a compelling vision, and drive towards this vision.

At Hallmark, our IT division is called Technology & Business Enablement because it really is all that!   We play a leadership role in identifying, developing and managing the process and technology solutions required for Hallmark to win in the marketplace.  We proactively partner with business areas to develop new capabilities, build reliable solutions and efficiently manage the corporation's investment in technology and end-to-end processes.

Within the T&BE division, the Strategy, Information and Enterprise Program Management Office (SI&EPMO) organization is looking for a great talent.  SI&ePMO is responsible for:

  • aligning the T&BE division strategy with corporate goals and priorities
  • developing application, data, information, process, and technology architectures to support the enterprise
  • developing and executing the BI strategy in support of the enterprise 
  • effective data management
  • planning and executing Product Development, Technology and Hallmark Digital projects
  • executing lean/process improvements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years analytics work experience
  • 5+ years of working with data as a developer, analyst, and/or architect
  • 3+ years people management with a track record of building new skills in an existing workforce
  • 3+ years of consistent interaction with business partners


  • Masters Degree
  • A demonstration of a moderately detailed understanding of Hallmark's business

Basic Skills:

  • Proficient in collaborative technologies
  • Experienced in leveraging external research
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills

Additional Experience preferred:

  • Developing, monitoring, and reporting KPIs
  • Data visualization, design and warehousing
  • Leveraging external data (vendor, purchased, other)
  • Big Data platform implementation and management
