IOP Counselor - Adolescent

Job Description

Responsible for counseling clients and/or families with alcohol and drug problems. Is a part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare workers. Performs individual and group counseling. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activates. Assesses clients, develops individual treatment plans, completes all necessary documentation, is responsible for case management and discharge planning, conducts counseling sessions and coordinates the client’s treatment through the Treatment Team process.

BS Degree in a related field preferred

Knowledge of area resources for referral
