Accounts Receivable Specialist

The job

Buildertrends Accounts Receivable Specialists work closely with internal (other Buildertrend employees) and external customers to ensure customers are billed timely and accurately according to the terms of their agreement. These individuals also work on collections of past due payments, negotiation of payment plans and terms. The A/R Specialists also help facilitate the reconciliation of scheduled account payments to received payments to ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping of customer status.

The preferred candidates

Bachelors Degree in business or a related field and 1-3 years office work experience. Proficiency with MS Office; other database or financial systems experience preferred. We seek out individuals who are a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, think critically and confidently solve problems. Additionally, have the confidence to speak with customers who are past due and maintain or handle highly confidential information.
