Semiconductor Online Monitoring Support Engineer
Location: Austin or Waco, TX
Elemental Scientific is seeking a Support Engineer to join our team in Texas, in the Waco or Austin areas. The Support Engineer is responsible for technical development and customer support within the fast-growing, semiconductor manufacturing industry. Elemental Scientific is a world leader in the field of automation and online monitoring instrumentation for elemental and isotopic analysis using ICPMS detection.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance via email, phone, or in person.
Assist customers with installation, training, maintenance and field service of lab automation systems.
Operate analytical tools, including robotic systems, QTOF mass spectrometers, ICPMS, and other analytical instruments.
Provide application support to semiconductor fabs and ultrapure chemical supply chain.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to our products, Radian and Scout.
Identify opportunities for product improvement and relay customer feedback to the development team.
Deliver product training to customers and internal teams.
Assist with testing and validating new software releases.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically.
Prior experience in technical support or a customer-facing role is preferred.
Previous experience with ICP / ICPMS analysis is preferred.
Traveling to customer sites within Texas and possible other locations is required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter and eager to learn.
