We’re looking for a talented Product Designer to help turn our mission from vision to reality. You’ll join a product team within our Omaha office and will own design throughout the product development lifecycle, from research to rapid prototyping all the way to detailed interactions and working front-end.
You’ll be a researcher, observing and interviewing users to uncover latent needs, the underlying story behind what they say they want. You’ll be a data nerd, digging through user behavior to understand how our users behave when they’re not in a user interview. You’ll partner with a Product Manager to find the true job-to-be-done and collaborate on solutions. You’ll sketch, prototype, wireframe, and code smart-experiments inside our app to test your biggest assumptions as quickly as possible.
Once your concepts start clicking, you’ll work with a squad of engineers and quality experts to make the dream a reality. As a Product Designer, you’ll craft the interface (with semantic HTML, CSS, and JS best practices) and then team up with an engineer to get it wired into our backend systems. As the design goes through development and testing, you’ll be in charge of making sure the visuals, interactions, and copywriting solve the job-to-be-done.
You’ll do whatever it takes to ship and embody the Quantum Workplace principle “Team Over Self”. Whether it’s rolling up your sleeves for QA or creating visuals for release notes and user communications, you and your squad will have wide autonomy – and responsibility – to find and build the right solutions to deliver on our mission to make work better every day. Your job doesn’t stop once your solution ships. You’ll work with your squad to validate that we’ve met the right needs and iterate until we have.
You’ll collaborate with other Product Designers to raise the quality bar and continually improve our design processes, principles, and tooling. You’ll contribute to our design system and standards, finding and communicating repeatable patterns that drive a consistent experience across our platform.
