We are looking for a Sales Settlement Specialist to join our Lincoln team. In this role you will support the AKRS Equipment sales department by performing settlements of equipment with John Deere. You will be responsible for the administrative aspect of the sales process between John Deere and AKRS Equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative aspects of the sales process and support the sales representatives through the process
  • Assemble documentation to complete the sales invoicing and settlement processes
  • Work directly with sales staff to obtain information from sales transactions
  • Analyze and process sales invoices and settlements after examining purchase orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Enter accounting entries after settlements are completed to the general ledger, bank accounts, accounts payable and inventory systems
  • Manage workflow process, supporting sales representatives through the process
  • Enter accounting entries related to sales transactions and inventory systems
  • Focus on continuous improvement and provide feedback to further effectiveness and efficiency within team

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals such as debit, credit, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel & Word and Internet based tools
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Associate Degree in business or accounting or equivalent experience
