What will a Pharmacy Nurse do every day?

Nurses serve as the liaison between the pharmacy and facility partners. They work collaboratively with pharmacist consultants, pharmacy assistants and the internal operations team to ensure all partners have a positive pharmacy experience.

50% of time onsite at facilities: providing best practice education, performing audits, meeting with leadership to discuss health checks and identifying areas of need, and act as pharmacy liaison for new facility startups and integrations.
50% of time work from home and at pharmacy: preparing educational materials, conducting health checks, phone and/or virtual meetings with facilities and operations team regarding new starts, integrations, and processes, compiling pharmacy performance reports, collaborating with teammates, and other areas needing nurse expertise.

An essential component of this position is the ability to build a positive rapport with partners through face-to-face communication, which starts from initial pharmacy introduction and throughout the partnership. The main goal of this position is to merge pharmacy and facility, all the while providing excellent customer service to both our internal teammates and partners. This position will service our partners in the Midwest region.

Pharmacy Nurse minimum requirements will include:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required
Valid and Insurable Driver s License required
One to three years of experience as an LPN or RN. Long Term Care Facility experience is preferred
Experience using EHR systems required
Demonstrated active listening skills, exceptional phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills required
Intermediate computer skills and passion for technology required
Superb written and oral communication skills required
Strong organizational and analytical skills required
Must be able to travel within your region on a daily basis, some overnight travel required
Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, work independently, and meet deadlines
Ability to convey a positive and professional image to supervisor and employees
Ability to follow all safety and COVID-19 precautions

You must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position. A completed pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.

This position is a salary position, hours required are those that meet our customer s needs. Flexibility is a must, as well as planned regional travel.
