You must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or qualifying pay band under other pay systems in the Federal Service which has given you the particular knowledge, skills and abilities as shown below required to successfully perform the duties of the this position. Experience which involved performing education and training duties such as: management and delivery of the on-the-job (OJT) training; training requirements; retraining; organizational training planning; providing technical guidance and assistance to managers and supervisors within the organization on all aspects of the training program elements; and preparing briefings regarding status of programs. (To be creditable, specialized experience must meet the above quality level requirements).

(2) Knowledge of the principles and processes of effective instruction and adult learning. (5) Ability to analyze education and training data/products and apply problem solving techniques for resolving issues and improving processes.
Substitution of Education for Experience: Masters Degree or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR; LL.B or J.D., in a relevant field of study (e.g., Education). This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of a Training Technician and is related to the duties of this position. If qualifying based on education, a legible copy of your college transcripts identifying Institution name and location, type of degree awarded and date conferred is required.
Combining Experience and Education: Equivalent combinations or successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Position may or will require incumbent to: (1) Incumbents regular assignments are primarily ART duties; however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. (2) Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as designated for this position.
