Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

If education or a degree is required as part of the "Specialized Experience", you must include transcripts.

Must have at least 18 months of Specialized Experience in each of the following:
1. Removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts, components, and accessories.
2. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to powered support equipment and systems; and skill to replace, fit, install, and make adjustments.
3. Working knowledge of the makeup and operation of the various individual systems maintained and their interrelationships.
4. Reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics. Preferred Experience
-18 months experience working with and/or on BAK-12/Type H Aircraft Arresting Systems, as well as, Textile Brake Systems (TBS).

Military skill set is determined by the designated AFSC requirements. Upon selection, individuals must be assigned to a compatible military AFSC in accordance with statutes and National Guard Bureau regulations and must obtain/maintain all requirements of the AFSC.

For positions requiring the operation for motor vehicle, candidates must have a valid state drivers license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
