Duties

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Serves as the focal point, local authority and expert source for information for all administrative functions of the unit.  These functions include correspondence and messages; records documentation management; printing and duplication; publication and forms management; reference library; special orders; receipt, storage and control of classified documents; on the job training programs for both technicians and unit military personnel; and Personnel Concepts III (PCIII) program.  Develops procedures that affect administrative management and program development within the unit.  Identifies and researches a wide variety of administrative problems to determine the best solution when there is not one absolutely correct or appropriate solution and recommends course of action to be followed. Performs other duties as assigned.  (A more comprehensive detailed description of the position may be found in Position Description D1436000, on file in the employing unit or in the Human Resources Office.)

MILITARY COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

: Selected candidate is required to be assigned to a compatible military unit and MOS/AFSC in accordance with TPR 303. Enlisted AFSC: 3D1X1, 3A1X1, 3S0XXX

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: COMPLETE DATES MUST BE USED FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE.  EXAMPLE 2 JAN 1980 TO 3 MARCH 1981 OR JAN 1980 TO MARCH 1981.  USE OF YEAR ONLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.  EACH APPLICANT MUST FULLY SUBSTANTIATE -IN THEIR OWN WORDS -THAT THEY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE LISTED BELOW; OTHERWISE, THE APPLICANT WILL BE CONSIDERED UNQUALIFIED FOR THIS POSITION.  DO NOT COPY FROM THE VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT OR THE POSITION DESCRIPTION. Minimum Requirements:   Administrative or clerical experience, or training which demonstrates the candidates ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.

Specialized Experience: Must have at least 9 months experience performing administrative work, gathering information, compiling data and preparing reports.  Experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or law.  Experience using oral and written communication.

 

OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THIS POSITION: SELECTEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE

IN THE DIRECT DEPOSIT/ELECTRONIC FUND TRANSFER PROGRAM.
