We are currently looking for a Leader to join our Omaha Petroleum team as a Regional General Manager.  This role will develop and manage the team to operate the business safely and profitably; so Sapp Bros., Inc. has zero accidents and above market growth in sales and profit while building a sustainable business.  This role will also support customer facing activities to aggressively grow profitable sales across the regional business.  Selecting, developing and identifying top performers for current and future management will be a primary focus and rhythm in order to sustain successful operational processes in this role.  

You will be responsible for:

·         Establishing, implementing, and communicating the strategic direction of the organizationâ??s petroleum division for the Omaha region.

·         Ensuring that we are a customer focused organization that delivers the best possible service in a profitable way to the company.

·         Enforcing safety in region, providing ongoing active coaching and enforcement/adherence to all safety policies and procedures. 

·         Collaborating with other Regional General Managers to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems.

·         Ensuring the regional decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organizationâ??s business plan and vision.

·         Directly manages the regionâ??s leadership team, which includes some combination of; Location, Refined Fuel, Propane, Warehouse, Operations, Logistics, and Customer Service Team Leaders.

·         Managing all procurement processes and coordinating material and resource allocations while working to maintain the appropriate amount of product inventory across the region.

·         Helping manage relationships/agreements with external partners and vendors while collaborating closely with Corporate Procurement and Inventory Teams to ensure the company is sourcing the most cost-effective products and services.

·         Understanding the financial impact decisions and processes within the region can make and ultimately held responsible for the overall profitability of the region.

·         Collaborating with the Corporate Fleet Manager and VP of Operations to ensure all physical assets are properly maintained and most efficiently utilized across the region.

·         Partnering with Human Resource Manager and VP of Operations regarding performance trends and retention of employees within your region.

·         Identifying training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.

·         Engaging and inspires leaders within your region to establish leadership skills; including being a driver of process and culture changes to promote profitability and a positive work place environment.

·         Helping coordinate and guide sales efforts inside region, in collaboration with the sales manager and assigned salesperson. 

·         Working closely with the Petroleum Cabinet to both identify and implement initiatives that will drive a more safe and profitable organization.

·         Providing a physical presence at each location within your region on a regular basis.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for this position include:

·         Bachelorâ??s degree in Business Administration, or other industry related field required

·         Minimum of 5 years of industry-related experience including 3 years supervisory experience, required

·         Experience in the Oil, Fuel and Transportation field, preferred

·         Adaptable and resilient to change

·         Self-motivated

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
