Machine Operator

Position: Full-time

Company: eSpin Technologies, Inc.

eSpin is a small company based in Chattanooga manufacturing filtration products.  The company manufactures fibers, fabric and HVAC air filters.  We are growing and looking at adding capable and motivated individuals to join the eSpin manufacturing team.

Responsibilities: 

• Setting up machines to start a production cycle

• Operate manufacturing equipment

• Test operations of machines periodically 

• Fix issues during production

• Responsible for the quality of the product, packaging, labeling and stocking

• Maintain equipment and process logs

• Maintain a tidy and organized work space 

• Cleaning machine components with chemicals
• Test material for quality

• Learn about MSDS, safety, clean-up and chemical disposal

 Requirements

• Ability to operate computer programmed machinery

• Ability to work with chemicals

• Physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift 50 lbs and and stand for 8 hours or more

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and mechanical systems

• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, etc...)

• Must be familiar with hand and shop tools

• 3 – 5 yrs. Manufacturing experience desirable

Desired

• Manufacturing experience in Fibers, Nonwoven, Textile, paper, film or Converting Industry 

Pay Range 

• $18 to $20, plus shift differential as applicable (10.0% for 2nd shift & 12.5% for 3rd shift).
