Engineering Intern – A Part-time position with tremendous opportunities for learning and
experience.

eSpin Technologies is a nanofiber manufacturing company based in Chattanooga, TN. To support
our COVID PPE demand we are expanding and searching for capable and motivated mechanical
engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering team in designing electromechanical systems for eSpin’s in-house
manufacturing lines
- Support engineers in electrical and controls system design
- Assist in creating electrical schematics and panel drawings
- Support in developing machine architecture and sequence of operation (flowchart, algorithm etc.)
- Program, test and troubleshoot PLCs and drives
- Assist in electrical wiring, conduit layout, electrical parts specification, and ordering.

Qualification Requirements:
- Must be pursuing an Associates or a four-year engineering degree, (Electrical/ Mechanical)
- Knowledge and use of AutoCAD or any other electrical schematic design software
- Familiarity with low/high voltage circuits and components such as fuses, relays, transformers etc.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment in a small company on the path of aggressive
growth

Desired:
- Must be computer-savy with hands-on experience in programming
- Use of test equipment such as multimeter/oscilloscope etc
