The Outpatient Therapist provides professional psychotherapeutic services for outpatient clients, as well as outpatient alcohol/drug abuse and addiction therapy services including alcohol/drug abuse evaluations, individual therapy, family/couples therapy, group therapy, and client and community presentations.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in the human services or substance abuse field from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, and/or related field, with a Master’s degree in one of the above disciplines preferred.
Required: Full or Provisional Licensure as a Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) and/or Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC); Licensed Clinical Social Worker; or Licensed Psychologist. Additionally, we encourage those who would like to continue in their field to apply. If someone is interested in adding a secondary licensure (i.e., a Mental Health Practitioner securing training and licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor) we would encourage you to consider BHS.
