We are currently accepting applications for a Leasing Consultant position at our Centerville Pointe Apartment community in Garland, Texas.  Qualified applicants must have previous leasing and/or customer service experience, and LIHTC experience is preferred.  This full-time position requires availability Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm), with Saturday hours (10:00am – 4:00pm) required every other week.

The successful leasing consultant will:

• Perform activities related to apartment rental and renewal: Providing apartment tours; Qualifying prospective residents; Preparing LIHTC documentation; Completing move-in procedures; Meeting with current residents regarding lease renewal and rates
• Maintain excellent resident relations: Provide superior customer service; Work with residents to provide solutions; Participate in resident promotions or functions
• Represent the property community in a positive manner and convey the benefits of the community to prospective residents
• Proactively participate in the team effort to accomplish desired results

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills a must
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public
• Minimum of two years sales/leasing experience or equivalent required
• LIHTC experience preferred
• Follow directions and work independently
• Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have basic understanding of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally
