Family Permanency Supervisor

Nebraska Families Collaborative (NFC) is currently seeking a Family Permanency Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have highly developed clinical skills and experience necessary to oversee effective case management outcomes of family permanency teams, and the ability to plan, assign, direct, and evaluate the work of staff with a strong emphasis on coaching and mentoring.  NFC is a progressive organization that embraces a solution-focused culture.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field plus a minimum of 4 years of experience in case management is required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory and management experience preferred.
  • Current licensure as an LMHP or LIMHP preferred.
  • Knowledge and the ability to apply the principles and practices of direct case management including assessment, analyzing critical information, plan development and implementation.
  • Must demonstrate capacity to supervise family intervention services, be knowledgeable of, and comply with, statutes and policies which affect target population.  
  • Ability to work effectively with community service providers, law enforcement, the court and legal systems.
  • Availability for mandatory on call status as outlined by NFC.
  • Must be knowledgeable of community resources and service providers available in the geographical area.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Must have valid auto liability insurance.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
