Program Support Worker

Nebraska Families Collaborative is currently seeking a Program Support Worker to work directly with Family Permanency staff to provide continuity in the implementation of strategies and interventions with children and families to achieve safe and timely permanency.

This will be done through activities such as: direct transport to clients who are involved with the foster care and/or juvenile offender system to and from family visitations, doctor visits, family team meetings, court hearings and other necessary appointments; will ensure the timely and secure transportation and support services for children and youth; will provide required visitation services to abide by contract requirements; will guarantee accurate documentation and reporting during family/client visits.

$13 - $15/hour, additional compensation for bilingual skills (Spanish-speaking).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing, reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
  • Requires previous successful work experience dealing with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficient keyboarding skills.
  • Able to work flexible hours and days.
  • Demonstrate understanding of confidentiality.
  • Take initiative to meet licensure requirements, training requirements, and to develop competencies.
  • Ability to work productively with internal and external customers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision to accomplish daily outcomes
