The Treasury Management Coordinator is responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling and supporting cash management products and services to established business customers and targeted prospective clients.  Works closely with relationship officers in attaining service charge and deposit goals; solidify customer retention efforts by providing a superior level of customer service.  Responds to a Request for Proposal (RFP); assesses customer needs and recommends effective strategies; performs a cost benefit and risk analysis; negotiates pricing to optimize profitability of product or service solutions.  Contributes to the Bank's deposit growth strategies and goals; generates additional revenue from the sale of cash management products and services; attains established individual, department and Bank goals through active participation in sales processes.  This position does not have direct supervisory duties.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works independently to identify prospective new cash management clients; including but not limited to cold calling, responding to sales leads, and other interactions to increase cash management sales.  Specific sales goals will be established through formal process.
  • Provides a full range of professional, technical and general support to customers and bank personnel.
  • Actively partners with other bank sales representatives to provide expertise in the cash management product line and cross sell to existing clients.
  • Responsible for creating and presenting product proposals for clients as well as other bank sales representatives.  
  • Create and facilitate targeted product training for bank staff members as needed to increase product knowledge and cross selling opportunities.

  • Performs customer setups; prepares contracts and maintains customer files; tracks sales records, monitors product usage and system operation.
  • Independently resolves problems and seeks guidance when necessary.
  • Helps in the coordination and support of audits and examinations
  • Performs a variety of routine daily tasks; reviews reports, prepares correspondence; and participates in special bank projects

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience in banking industry
  • 3-5 years’ experience in banking industry with cash management experience preferred
  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated/takes initiative.
  • Ability to effectively work with colleagues and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
  • Accountable for professional working behavior to include; building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving.
