We are a premier senior living community and are seeking a team-oriented professional to deliver exceptional service for our residents as an Assistant Director of Nursing. Position Summary: Ideal candidates will have a personality that highlights their dedication to superior resident care.  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality by providing personal care services, assistance, support, evaluation and supervision to residents as needed.  Flexibility is essential in this role, including on-call responsibilities and occasional weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing license in the state (LPN preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience working with older adults in a resident-centered care role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and training the nursing staff, ensuring all staff is properly certified
  • Lead the nursing staff in delivering exceptional care to our residents and support to their family members
  • Implement quality improvement programs to help us deliver the highest possible levels of care
  • Maintain resident records according to State and Federal guidelines
  • Excellent assessment, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate maturity, flexibility and self-direction
  • Ability to communicate openly, honestly and responsibly with others
  • Ability to maintain a customer focus treating all residents with respect and integrity
  • Ability to accept responsibility for agreements made and follow through as appropriate
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 200 pounds
