Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has an immediate opening for a Cyber Security Intern located at Columbus General Office in Columbus. Position closes May 15, 2021 at 11:59 pm Central Time.

The internship's function is to learn and mentor from experienced Cyber Security Systems Analysts for a period of time starting approximately June 1, 2021 to no later than August 31, 2021 (approximate dates only, schedule will be based on school calendar).
Education, Training and Experience
Applicant must be working toward an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and currently hold at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Note: The Intern must be enrolled in an accredited two-year or four-year college/university carrying a minimum of 12 semester units or 8 quarter unit with freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior standing in a related major and must maintain enrollment. The internship/training must be in the student's field of study. College credit may apply to some internships.
Salary Information - $16.00 per hour
