As a Payroll Tax Specialist you are will be:

  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of all customer payroll tax payments and filings in accordance with various regulations and deadlines from various taxing authorities.
  • Responsible for the accurate preparation of all required federal, state and local tax forms and reports
  • Responsible for the investigation and resolution of all payroll tax related inquiries received.
  • This position must be flexible and have the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment and meet stringent deadlines.
  • The primary focus of this position will be to provide payroll customers with a true "best practice" experience in all aspects of customer services. The Payroll Tax Specialist will be responsible for providing outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assisting and resolving a wide variety of customer requests, inquiries, complaints and escalations, both verbally and in writing.
  • This position provides product and service support to customers regarding payroll, accounting, tax filing, money-movement and other related payroll services.

Education, Experience and/or Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent professional level work experiences
  • At least 3 years payroll experience
  • Familiar with U.S. taxation including federal, state and local (including reciprocity)
  • Experience handling large volume, multi-client payroll
  • CPP or FCP would be highly desired.
