The Boys Town Youth Associate role is dedicated to allowing Boys Town youth the opportunity to learn, grow, and work as part of the Boys Town community. Works on a variety of tasks to support the Boys Town mission.

Various Part-Time positions available for work after school and on weekends. This role is only for Youth attending the Boys Town Education Center.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Responsible for working on a variety of assigned administrative tasks.

  • Connect with supervisor to learn the duties and function of the area assigned.

  • Work alongside Boys Town employees to carry out basic functions to support the department needs.

  • Meet regularly with supervisor and other team leads to check back, and complete projects as assigned.

  • Proactively demonstrate qualities of a positive and hardworking employee.

  • Build experience and work knowledge for future career growth.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to sort documents or other relevant materials quickly and correctly, according to need, including chronologic, numeric, or alphabetical order.

  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 16 years of age required.

  • Family Home Consultant approval required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

  • Previous experience in an office or file room setting is preferred.
