Delivers a balanced program of instruction to a class when the assigned instructor is unavailable.

Boys Town Home Campus Program (Boys Town Education Center) offers teachers the opportunity to have it all:

  • Small class sizes (10-12 students)

  • Student ages 10-18

  • Home and school collaborative use of the Boys Town Behavior model, and wrap around services for students

  • Small group and 1:1 paraprofessional support. Team teaching model where appropriate

  • Individualized teacher development opportunities offered by Instructional Coaching, Instructional Technology Coaching and Boys Town Behavior Model Coaching

  • Wrap-around service from the Family Home Program and Behavioral Health Care

  • Professional growth and development opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required.

  • Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate required.

  • PEM and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained if subbing in the RTC or select settings required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background and experience to include work with learning disabled and behaviorally impaired learners preferred.

  • Special Education endorsement preferred.

  • Current CPR certification preferred.
