Content Marketing Manager

We are searching for a creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Content Marketing Manager to join the AccuQuilt team. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, project management prowess, exceptional writing skills and the ability to create high-quality content. Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, the Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing content strategy as well as managing various types of digital and traditional content – including blog posts, email, press releases, and sales collateral. The ideal candidate will excel at creative storytelling and the ability to create and maintain the “Voice of AccuQuilt” to our customers. Additional responsibilities include strategically creating and managing social media plan, the AccuQuilt blogger network, and editorial calendar. The Content Marketing Manager will work to be both coach and player; working to both devise and implement the content strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write compelling, targeted content that results in explosive traffic for a variety of platforms including blogging, website copy, promotional materials and articles
  • Manage of all content resources including designers, writers, and other personnel to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience
  • Drive engagement and leads by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
  • Track content performance across multiple channels and report and communicate key learnings
  • Conceive, draft, proofread, and edit written materials quickly
  • Understand and communicate technical subjects in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
  • Primarily oversee management of projects, but will also lead the Social Media Specialist in efforts to enhance his/her contribution to content ideation and research
  • Maintain an understanding of content assets and performance, conducting regular audits to ensure that all content is fresh and relevant
  • Optimize all content for SEO, lead conversions and engagement
  • Build and manage a rich content calendar that attracts customers to our various media channels (including blog posts, white papers, webinars, infographics, etc.)

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing, copywriting, or other content production
  • Experience developing and managing editorial calendars and organization workflows
  • Experience integrating social media as part of an integrated content strategy
  • Experience in Wordpress, Google Analytics, Magento 2, Hubspot preferred
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or related field is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to write clearly and concisely with minimal editing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability for leadership of both people and projects
  • Understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
