Title: Regional Sales Representative

AccuQuilt is seeking a Regional Sales Representative in the Southeast territory to play an integral role on our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate for the role will be an experienced, sales professional with the ability to identify and secure new accounts. The Regional Sales Representative primary role is a ‘Hunter’ to secure new accounts that have been identified in the Southeast United States. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast pace, team focused, collaborative environment in a rapidly growing company. Salary includes a competitive base and commission. Expected travel of 3 to 4 days required per week to be successful.

Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Representative

  • Responsible to meet and exceed specific new account goals. All accounts must be qualified and meet our internal ‘best practice’ requirements
  • Analyze and create prospect plans for assigned key markets / states to be presented to the VP with objective to grow the overall market and not cannibalize existing dealer sales.
  • Meet with the potential new dealer, at their primary store, to assess and insure they are a fit for our brand and meet our requirements of a successful dealer
  • Secure appointments with prospects
  • Coordinate travel needs with the Sales and Event Coordinator
  • Review all prospective new accounts with the VP of sales for final approval. Coordinate launch of the new dealers with the assigned internal account team. They will help launch the new dealer and be responsible for the ‘Farming’ to achieve our annual sales goals for the account.
  • Demonstrate and explain products; answer customer and prospective customer questions on our programs and products
  • Make sales presentations in person as well as conduct presentations and demonstrations for consumers at store events
  • Review sales reports and identify trends and business opportunities for their customers
  • Provide monthly and Quarterly sales reports to VP of Sales with appropriate action steps and plans to achieve the plans

Requirements of the Regional Sales Representative

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience can substitute for the degree
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and speaking
  • Excellent organization skills and experience with account management
  • Ability to build relationships with retailers and present ideas / event concepts to drive additional revenue for them
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and accomplish projects with little supervision.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with shared resources
  • Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
  • Proficient using the Web to conduct research, event administration and procurement as well as with the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
