IT Support Specialist
We have a career opportunity for an IT Support Specialist. As an IT Support Specialist you will be responsible for American Laboratory, LLC's (ALI) it tasks.
The specialist will be located in Omaha, working with different management levels and support personnel in other office locations.
The impact you will have:
o Monitor daily operations, including server, hardware, software and enterprise systems
o Evaluate current applications and make recommendations for improvement, as needed
o Configure user devices and system access
o Administration of and for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system
o Collaborate with Managed Services Provider to execute Cyber Security strategies to protect organization
o Stay up to date on technology advancements
o Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervisor
o Work independently while understanding the necessity for community and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
o Train employees on use of many different types of software
o Write required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for computer operations
o Complete monthly Preventive Maintenance tasks for specified machines
o Manage IT assets and inventory system
o Collaborate with other departments on projects, integrating new technology where possible (process improvement, automation, etc.)
Further responsibilities and duties as deemed necessary.
Work Experience & Education Requirements
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Experience with Dynamics 365 (preferred).
o Proficient in MS Suite of products including Office365, Server, and Exchange.
o Strong verbal/written communication skills.
o Attention to detail.
o Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred), or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a computer systems environment
