Parenting Time/Visitation Worker Definition       

  • Supervises visits between a child / youth and parent which require line of site supervision and in proximity to hear the interactions of the visit by a trained staff who will intervene if child safety is compromised.
  • Transporting/driving children between their placements (to include foster parents, placement facilities, schools and day cares when applicable)
  • Required to take notes to submit for documentation after your session is complete.  

Paid training for new hires are offered weekly.  Evenings and weekends are required for the job as this is when most families are able to be together to reunite.

Requires a High School degree or GED and one to two years of related experience working with children, families, or other human services. Experience may include high school or volunteer experieces. Must by at least 19 years of age .
