Overview: Coordinates Behaven Kids intake and assessment activities to ensure quality of services to families and children. Provides a consistent and effective intake and departure process in accordance with the philosophy and mission of Behaven Kids.
Coordinates and monitors all intake and departure activities and responsibilities.
Pre-visits and tours
Builds and maintains relationships with families, consumers, and the community throughout services.
Completes clinical assessments.
Supervises and directs staff and activities related to the intake and admissions of clients and services.
Able to recognize problems, utilize good judgment and develop problem solving strategies to rectify and correct concerns and problems that arise.
Communicates effectively with parents, peers, consumers, and supervisor.
Prepares, updates and maintains all documentation and records.
Requests appropriate authorizations for all funding sources.
Ensures compliance with regulations of all funding sources.
Provides clinical and case management services to families and children.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requires a Masters degree in social work, psychology, human services or related field.
Must hold the required mental health credentials and licensure as required by the state of residence.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a light to moderate work environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
Two years experience providing counseling or therapy in a clinical setting.
Work schedule must be flexible and may include evening and weekend hours.
