  Midwest Eye Care is looking for an Insurance Specialist at our location at 13500 California Street office

  Full-time

  8:00am-5:00pm

   

  In this role YOU will:

  • Contact insurance carriers for payment of insurance claims.
  • Appeal insurance denials, check status of claims and eligibility on websites
  • Provide backup answering billing phone calls from patients.
  • Provide backup for insurance counseling for surgical patients.

   

  Outstanding candidates will have:

  • Experience in a patient accounts or health insurance position.
  • Understanding how health insurance works.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills working with co-workers and patients.
  • This position requires a minimum of a high school degree or GED. 

   

  Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:

  • Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification.
  • Successfully complete drug, alcohol and nicotine testing.
