Job Title: Occupational Health & Wellness Manager

Status: Exempt JOB OVERVIEW
The Fit for Work manager champions the organization�s focus on external customers to drive business to the community service lines of business, focusing primarily occupational health and injury services to meet facility goals.
Develops, implements and monitors sales plans to increase volume of service utilization to achieve Fit for Work, TherapyPlus and organizational goals.
Responsible for making face-to-face and virtual sales calls primarily with companies and physicians offices in order to prospect and maintain business relationships and increase sales opportunities.
Responsible for identifying and developing new occupational health offerings.
Collaborates with wellness team as they identify and develop new wellness offerings.
Responsible for oversight, leading and supervising the Fit for Work staff.
Responsible for daily operations of Fit for Work.
Collaborates with others in planning and all phases of development as well as managing the profitability and growth of wellness and occupational health services.
Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (INFORMATION)
Identifies, interprets and integrates key information including competitor analysis and needs assessment to lead growth of occupational health, work comp and wellness offerings.
Proactively identifies market information, changes in healthcare, delivery systems, and competitive pressures to modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
Communicates volume statistics and results of marketing visits and sales calls at business marketing meetings.
Attend conferences for networking and business development opportunities.
Develops and oversees promotion and completion of educational and marketing presentations to client companies, case managers and potential referral sources.
Manages growth and collaborates on strategy to increase profitability to achieve target and budget indicators of Fit for Work.
Coordinates and oversees completion of business plans, requests for proposals and formalized agreements for new business opportunities.
Manages client company protocol adherence, updates and distribution to indicated medical providers.
Provides oversight to ensure timely and accurate client company monthly billings and activity tracking.
Develop, implement and is accountable for occupational health nursing and DOT processes and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
(PEOPLE)
Supervises the Fit for Work staff and communicates regularly with the business leaders to ensure appropriate information flow.
Communicates regularly with other business and internal leaders regarding identified or potential areas of program development and sales.
Promotes Madonna Fit for Work, TherapyPlus, ProActive and physician services to community, physicians, case managers, adjusters, brokers and companies.
Sells business lines services through speaking engagements on and off site, touring individuals and groups, attending community events.
Collaborates with involved departments for the development of new programs to ensure good external communication, organization and support.
Completes account management with client companies to ensure client satisfaction and identify areas of potential growth and new offerings.
Communicates and collaborates effectively with all Madonna leaders and internal parties as well as all external parties.
Uses professional networking to develop positive external relationships and to identify areas of future development, collaboration and joint ventures.
Promotes and supports the organization�s mission, values and guiding principle statements within the organization and to the public.
Must perceive customer relations as a primary focus and continually strive to satisfy the needs of every customer in all areas of the work force.
Follows instruction from supervisor to perform other functions as assigned in order to achieve the goals of the facility.
(THINGS)
Communicates at monthly outpatient marketing meeting statistics, prospects and results of sales calls.
Utilizes computer to organize information. This includes word processing, spreadsheets, database, internet and Email.
Provides and operates a motor vehicle in order to make sales calls to potential and current accounts and referral sources and attend meetings and events.
Maintains a clean, organized and safe environment. Handles and operates all necessary equipment and performs required duties according to established safety standards to maintain compliance with regulations and prevent injury.
Ensures clean equipment and environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Must have constant near visual acuity with ordinary hearing and speaking skills.
Must have mobility to travel to various sites frequently.
Must possess good driving record to operate a motor vehicle.
Must be available to lift a maximum of 25 pounds and frequent lift and carry of 15 pounds.
Must tolerate frequently sitting throughout the work shift.
Must be able to independently move throughout facility while conducting tours.
Must tolerate occasional periods of carrying throughout the shift.
Must tolerate occasional to frequent horizontal reaching with both arms.
Frequent grasping of both hands requiring normal grip strength based on national averages.
Must have mobility to travel to various sites on a frequent basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably with a degree in marketing, sales, business or a health related field.
Two years minimum sales/marketing experience required, preferably in occupational health or work comp.
One year supervisory or management experience with knowledge and demonstrated oversight for regulatory compliance preferred.
Must have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal, and have demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Spreadsheet, PowerPoint required.
Valid Nebraska driver�s license and proof of good driving record required.
