JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for assisting Human Resources in diverse duties related to a variety of functions.  Performs data entry and develops complex spreadsheets for use in compensation financial analysis and reporting. Creates and maintains excel spreadsheet and other reports and documents regularly and as assigned.  Assists with data management of salary survey and other data.  Updates job descriptions with accuracy and timeliness in coordination with Director of Compensation.    Assists with a variety of tasks involving time-sensitive and confidential projects that may involve drafting time-sensitive documents.   Must have a high level of organization and flexibility with daily tasks with ability to perform time-sensitive assignments, multiple priorities, and re-prioritization of daily tasks regularly.  Must work in a friendly and collaborative manner.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
     (INFORMATION)
  1. Assists with various compensation related reports and statistics with a high level of accuracy for analysis and decision-making by leadership as assigned by supervisor.
  2. Must be able to synthesize data and other information and documents.
  3. Extracts and formats electronic salary survey data from external reports for electronic import to Madonnaâ??s salary survey reporting software.
  4. Uses critical thinking to review and identify appropriate market data from salary survey results and completes data entry of results for processing in salary survey reporting software. Performs data entry and develops complex and integrated spreadsheets by benchmarking.  Must have the ability to benchmark and compare jobs by review and assessment of Madonnaâ??s jobs by reviewing and assessing duties and scope
  5. Composes edits and maintains documented compensation-related procedures as assigned to provide consistent performance of tasks and training of co-workers.
  6. Assists in creating, revising, implementing compensation policies and procedures as requested.
  7. Responsible for updating/typing job description updates throughout the year and annually  through Word and other software and maintaining electronic  files and other sites ensuring accurate, up-to-date information for HR historical records and for facility leadership.
  8. Assists with updating the Job and Compensation Tables via data entry into the HRIS /payroll system timely and accurately.
  9. Responsible for updating performance review forms for the facility annually.
  10. Responsible for composing, editing, producing and/or distributing Excel spreadsheets, power point presentations, forms and/or reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
  11. Assists with accurately preparing documents, statistics and other reports or visual presentations.
  12. Assists with coordinating storage and/or disposal of compensation/survey documents according to HR guidelines.
  13. Coordinates accreditation and other survey documentation for review by surveyors in coordination with Vice President & CHRO.
  14. Schedules meetings upon request by supervisor and/or Vice President & CHRO including creating and distribution of meeting materials.   
  15. May record and compose assigned meeting minutes using Word.
  16. Assists with or works independently on special projects by investigating, collecting, compiling, and maintaining necessary documents and information.
  17. Creates and maintain accurate files and other records, both electronic and hard copy in an efficient manner.
  18. Maintain confidentiality and security of all HR and facility information at all times.
  19. May serve as a Notary Public.

  1. Assists supervisor with compensation/payroll related assignments.
  2. Adheres to confidentiality expectations of supervisor, within Human Resources and within the facility at all times.
  3. Collaborates with HR team members effectively to ensure efficient HR office operations and coverage.
  4. Assists with serving all customers in a friendly and professional manner.  Assists with direct calls and inquiries to appropriate person/department.  Greets and receives others and HR team members with courtesy and respect.
  5. Works with interruptions and rearrange priorities without adverse reaction and flexibility.
  6. Assists in the orientation and training of new Human Resources system staff to provide support and knowledge of applicable policies and procedures as assigned.
  7. Follows instruction from supervisor to perform other functions as assigned in order to achieve Madonna and department, system or facility goals. 
  
QUALIFICATIONS 
High school equivalency with one year post-high school education in Accounting, Finance, Business or Human Resources required. Two years relevant work experience in Human Resources, Finance or Accounting required, preferably in health care. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems and/or Payroll/Time and Attendance systems preferred. Additional applicable work experience as determined by Madonna may be considered in lieu of formal post-high school education.  Must be proficient and expert in Excel spreadsheet reporting, pivot tables, data management and analysis for leadership decision-making.  Data and records management and analytical skills work experience required.
