The candidate for this position will be working with a cross-disciplinary team to ensure processes are up to date and compliant with pertinent regulations. This includes but is not limited to Health and Safety, OSHA, and CARF regulations. Along with staying abreast of regulations, this position has a large staff education and development component. Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date on new regulations and leading facility compliance efforts
  • Teach regulatory classes. Must be certified as a CNA in the State of Nebraska--will provide PAID training, if not already trained.
  • Organize and lead compliance and ethics committee team meetings
  • Active participation as part of the COVID response team
  • Administration of the Light House program and leading investigations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to complete CMS regulatory and CARF accreditation surveys
  • Perform randomized audits (infection control, state survey, life safety)
  • Build strong bonds with nursing, residential, and clinical teams

 

Vaccination Requirements:

  • All team members are required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.
