As a Para Educator, you are essential in preparing our residents for their lives after rehab. Your day-to-day interactions will vary and no two days are alike—one day you might help someone with grocery shopping and the next day you will help a resident learn how to prepare a meal for a family gathering. Other activities might include assisting with college registration, navigating options for new equipment, or helping a resident publish a book. This is not a position where you just check a box and do the same thing for every resident--together you help mold their recovery and revive their purpose after they leave. This is an exciting and unique opportunity!
