Are you looking for the chance to be an essential part in someone’s rehabilitation and recovery?  As a Speech and Life Skills Assistant, you will be a key member of the clinical team aiding the development of everyday skills and routines with our residents.

You are essential in preparing our residents for their lives after rehab. Your day-to-day interactions will vary and no two days are alike—one day you might help someone with grocery shopping and the next day you will help a resident learn how to prepare a meal for a family gathering. Other activities might include assisting with college registration, navigating options for new equipment, or helping a resident publish a book.  The options and creativity are unique and personalized!

At QLI, you will be part of the largest and most comprehensive center for post-hospital brain injury and spinal cord injury rehabilitation and care services in the United States. We have the distinguished honor of being recognized multiple times as a Best Place to Work in Omaha. QLI’s culture is a major differentiator from most other rehabilitation and care providers.

--Certification as a C.N.A. is required. We will provide training for the right candidate.

--High school diploma or equivalent is required.
