We are looking for great talent that has exceptional skills in month end close process, payroll and Quickbooks. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and is passionate about numbers.

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Right at Home business acting as a subject matter expert for accounting operations. The ideal candidate for this role:

Contributes to the accounting and financial processes of the Company and its Subsidiaries and ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls.


Cash management (deposits, weekly and monthly reconciliations, electronic payment processing)

Process bi-weekly payroll

Process weekly invoicing and EFT for customer billing

Assist in the month end close process

Preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Preparation of monthly supplemental reporting for third parties

Record, analyze and review all intercompany accounting for multiple companies

Review monthly accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

Create monthly and year-to-date variance analysis reports

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

Manage and maintains fixed asset schedules

Participate in the preparation for the annual audit

Preparation and filing of annual Form 1099s

Preparation and filing of non-income tax state filings and management of payments

Assist in the formulation and monitoring of internal controls and policies

Serve as backup to most aspects of the accounting function

Drive and own projects to improve department efficiency and reduce spending

Perform other duties as assigned


BS/BA in Accounting required

CPA license is a plus

3+ years of accounting experience in similar position with hands-on knowledge of payroll processing, financial closure, financial statement reporting, and preparation of Form 1099s


Solid knowledge of GAAP to ensure accuracy of financial reporting

Working knowledge of QuickBooks

Experience with multiple companies and intercompany accounting

Well organized with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure timely completion of projects and other work activities

Ability to work independently and manage own workload to meet the goals of the finance department

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Great attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Ability to work with information that is of a highly confidential nature
