This position will play a key role in the development and support of all internal and external systems used to support the business. The position will be critical in performing pre-project system evaluations and the collection of business requirements. Once a system has been given a green light, this position shall project manage implementations including design, stakeholder integration and feedback, communication, and milestone reporting. As systems are converted to a live status, this position shall maintain, monitor, schedule upgrades with key system holders, and evaluate ongoing optimization of systems as appropriate in conjunction with business owners.
The systems architect will be responsible for the development of business requirements, work with governance to approve system projects with key stakeholders, and the implementation of systems within timeframes and applicable scope and budget. This position will also be responsible for upkeep, configuration, upgrades, definition of changing business requirements, and the reliable operation of computer systems. The system architect/administrator seeks to ensure uptime, performance, resources, and security of the systems they manage in order to meet the needs of the users.
